Retired Judge in BCCI Panel for Fair Trial – Lalit Modi’s Lawyer
Revoked Indian Premier League (IPL) commissioner Lalit Modi’s attorneys Tuesday required removing Chirayu Amin and Arun Jaitley from the disciplinary panel of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and the appointment of a retired supreme court judge in the panel.
At the following hearing belonging to the disciplinary committee, which survived more than three-and-a-half hours, Modi’s legal representatives discussed on the problem of recusal belonging to the two participants from the disciplinary committee.
Modi has maintained that Amin, IPL’s interim chairman, and Jaitley, governing council member belonging to the league, would be biased against him throughout the disciplinary proceedings. The third member of the committee is union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Modi again missed out the meeting and his lawyer Venkatesh Dhond pointed out that due to safety worries it was not feasible in order to inform when Modi might present himself before this committee.
